POTHOLES 60mm DEEP AND GROWING

Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 10:44, Tuesday 11 February 2025

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7116848.

These potholes have been here for weeks however the rain and surface water rushing down the road from blocked stormdrains has seen them grow in size and number - especially the two pictured which are now 60mm deep. Traffic is not just residential along this road. Thames Water's vans and tankers regularly use it to access the company's sewerage treatment plant.

  • The potholes are actually further down Chapel Close than the marker shows - however they are now unmissable. The whole road surface in that area is crumbling badly with access to two properties set to be impeded by the potholes should they deepen further.
