Entire road surface disintegrating on bend

Sent to Norfolk County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7114857.

The entire road surface is disintegrating on this 60mph section of the A1064 between the houses and the corner, and badly needs to be resurfaced. Damage is now becoming increasingly visible elsewhere along the road. Photos in another report are almost flattering.

The surface is uneven and jarring to drive over at best; at worst, what looks like the top layer of the road has come away in deep tyre tracks heading in both directions. It's dangerous to drive over given the speed of the road, particularly at this corner with its blind junction. Cars will likely be damaged, and there's potential for a serious accident to be had if the deeper damage is struck wrong, or if someone swerves to avoid the worst of the road.

  • Absolutely disgusting the state this road is in ! Every other road in the county seems to have been fixed but not this one . After repeatedly reporting along with other drivers , will the council take responsibility when a bad accident occurs as a result of this road surface ?!?!?! A date for repair is needed
