Reported via mobile in the Utlility covers category anonymously at 20:45, Sunday 9 February 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7109335.

Pothole rocking, when ever cars go over it makes a loud bang which is keeping residents awake through out the night, and provides me concerns it will tip up and severely damage a car/ cause injury.

  • The noise is getting progressively worse and feels like its going to break any day now. I also have a video of a car driving over it. This is incredibly dangerous!

  • Likewise, I have a video of cars driving over. The pics attached clearly show the manhole depressing whilst being driven over, and then popping back up once the weight of the vehicle is removed

  • It appears the manhole cover is becoming worse, it has now sunk 1-2 inches into the road, and is becoming more and more unstable. I am really concerned that cars are going to become damaged with potential injury.
