I just went over the pothole and it damaged my front left wheel as shown in the picture. Can I get compensation to cover the repair?

When will these be fixed? I had an email on the 20th of march saying it ‘warrants attention within 28 days’ well it has been over a month now and nothing has been done…

Still not fixed and getting worse. Emergancy stop this morning rather than hit the potholes as vehicles coming the other way.

As of 07:40 01/05/2025 All potholes in this location are still there and GROWING... Originally reported back in February, so why are they still there, causing damage to vehicles and putting lives at risk? 'Investigating' is not an acceptable answer, one can only assume that Oxfordshire County Council are waiting for a fatality before actioning repairs.

I am writing to express serious concern regarding the worsening state of potholes on a high-speed bend in this area. These potholes have been present and deteriorating for several months, despite numerous reports submitted to the council. To date, no action has been taken, and the situation is becoming increasingly dangerous.
Recently, I witnessed a near head-on collision between a car and a coach due to a vehicle swerving to avoid the potholes. Fortunately, I was familiar with the hazard and was able to maintain enough distance to prevent a serious accident. Others may not be so lucky.
The continued inaction poses a severe risk to public safety. If an accident does occur, the council could be held liable, especially given the volume of previous complaints and the lack of any interim safety measures. At the very least, warning signs should be erected immediately to alert drivers to the danger until permanent repairs can be made.
I urge the council to prioritise this issue before a serious incident occurs.

It won't be long before these Potholes will need to be reclassified as small Quarries, they are growing that quickly.
