Abandoned vehicles regularly
Reported via iOS in the Abandoned vehicle category anonymously at 19:19, Thursday 6 February 2025
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7098165.
We have an issue in the parking bay between 27 Cromwell Road and the corner of St James Avenue. The garages at the top of Cromwell Road are constantly using this area for abandoning broken down vehicles, I have examples that have been parked there for months, including a current BMW X5.
The rest of the street is resident parking between the hours of 10AM and 12PM, and we understand that people need visitors, however we strongly feel that a pay as you go System for visitors should be introduced, and the 10AM-12PM resident parking should be implemented too to ensure vehicles aren’t dumped. Currently there is nowhere to park for visitors due to vehicles being dumped.
We also have vouchers for those who come to visit between the hours of 10AM and 12PM.
I know of multiple household around this section of road who are happy to consider this, so we’d like you to put out a vote for the residents who are closest to the parking bays to have pay and display/ringo/resident parking in that long bay!

Nothing has been done since the original request was sent in. We want this looked at and letters sent out to local residents asking what their thoughts are on it

The same BMW that belongs to the garage hasn’t been moved at all. We have seen people from the garage trying to get it to start. It isn’t fair. There is only 1 car in this photograph that belongs to local residents! Parking is very difficult
