Dangerous potholes for pedestrians and cyclists also motorists
Reported via desktop in the Potholes and maintenance category anonymously at 11:47, Thursday 6 February 2025
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7095344.
These potholes have been in Upper Redcross Road for more than 2 months there are 2 or 3 which are approximately 12 by 18 inches and 2 to 3 inches deep. This road is the main access to sports and children’s play area as there isn’t a pavement people have to walk to these facilities on the road and the potholes are a major tripping hazard to the senior citizens and children accessing these areas . Also damage to vehicles and the public as vehicles swerve to miss the large and small potholes these areas have been repaired in the past but they reappear within a year or so.

It’s very difficult to photograph potholes at the moment as they are full of rain water it would be better if a member of your staff investigated before someone or a vehicle have a serious problem or injury.
