The council have earlier this week resurfaced half of the footpath that runs between Woodford Way and Moor Avenue along the back of the hospital. This was obviously done to rectify poor surfacing that was done around 18 months ago. Are they now intending to finish the job properly by resurfacing the rest of the path that is uneven and gets deep puddles across the complete width when it rains? The new section shows up the part that should be done too.

Thank you for your enquiry. There are no plans currently to return and resurface that remaining area. The area recently completed was the worse of the two sections. Its likely that just resurfacing will not remove the small areas of surface water and therefore may require drainage improvements which unfortunately will require appropriate planning so this will be added to the list for further consideration.
