Quite a few potholes on this road

Reported via mobile in the Pothole category anonymously at 10:42, Wednesday 5 February 2025

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7088883.

Quite a few potholes on this road that have been there for over a year. Plus the road and pavements are full of mud and it is very slippery and makes your clothes and shoes dirty to walk on the pavement. Mud is coming from the verges and is also thick on the side of the road. This road is a major walkway into town and it’s dirty and dangerous. It needs regular cleaning and mud clearance. Several of the road drains on this road are either completely clogged up or partially blocked. It’s the worst road in Witney for dirt and mud and lack of regular maintenance.

  • Thank you for sweeping the road, much better. Please now can we have the drains cleared ( apparently people renewing house insurance in this area, are considered to be in a flood plain) .

  • I walked down this road one day ago. Only first half has been cleaned and cleared. Second half of the road has not. And drains still blocked etc. And second half of the road pavements also awful. And the pavement and road area beside Cogges Farm building leading up to the nursery school and church gate entrance is also really muddy and slippery. Please sort this out, local council. Got back from walking into town and back with really muddy shoes and clothes again.
