  • Thank you for investigating. This stretch of 100m has over 10 major potholes which are patched every year. They were patched only 2 months ago and have already worn away. At the point shown in the picture with the arrow the camber of the road needs to be changed (ie raised on the left hand side of the picture) so rainwater will drain away rather than sitting and repeating the potholing process. Many thanks.

  • Just filling the holes will not solve the problem. This is proven by the fact that a number were repaired so recently. The road needs resurfacing, it’s that simple. Over the years I have spent a small fortune on replacing tyres fixing punctures and soon I will be claiming for these costs if something permanent isn’t done.

  • I agree with the last contributor. The road is almost unusable and living adjacent to it we hear cars scraping the underside on a daily basis where their wheels nearest our hedge go in the trench. Please - no more patches - the road needs building up with the correct camber and resurfacing. The pictures show just how bad the road is...quite unbelievable really.

  • For the second time in a couple of months someone has turned up, thrown a bit of tarmac in a couple of places and left - a complete waste of time and money. The road remains a danger to cyclists and walkers with so many potholes and uneven surfaces. Please do the right thing - sort the camber issue out and resurface the road.
