Poor repair a couple of years ago.

Reported via desktop in the Roads and Carriageways category anonymously at 09:29, Tuesday 4 February 2025

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7082349.

A stretch of road surface was "repaired" with one of the new systems. This was actually on both sides, east and west, of the Pensclose junction. I was given to understand at the time that the very rough finish would settle in time but this has not happened. It is still sufficiently rough that when riding a narrow tyred pedal cycle on it and giving a hand signal to turn, one risks being thrown off. You won't appreciate how dangerous this is until you try it yourselves on a bicycle - this is a serious challenge.
