Multiple issue with trees

Along the side of number 2 the Chenies which is then in turn on Chislehurst Road there are 14 trees, these trees are all in need of cutting back. The trees have new shoots growing which are compromising the fence and making this weak. Also the sap from the tree if they are kept to grow large in the summer, gets on the wheelchair wheels as there is a disabled pathway access at this side which is the only entrance/exit for the resident. Also these tress when the are not kept neatly, the public throw litter in amongst them, even cars passing by throw litter out here and this needs monitoring more frequently. Can the trees and footpath be looked at with regards to growth and cutting back before the spring/summer months to prevent the above issues.

Resident has called for update on the maintenance of the trees. These are getting bigger and are still causing numerous issues at the address. Resident has stated the sap from the trees is making it difficult for resident who is a wheelchair user to go out. Please can this be looked into and update provided.

Dear resident, All the lime trees in road will have the basil growth removed and the crowns lifted above your fence shortly as part of Bromley’s Basil Growth Program. The council dose not cut back overhang into property's. That can be done by yourselves under common law. Please see below,
Council will not prune or remove trees in relation to the following:
• Branches overhanging property boundaries or buildings. • Lack of light • Where a tree is thought be too tall or large or old • Interference with solar panels or satellite, TV, or other media reception Problems associated with pollen • Excreta caused by insects or birds • Obstruction of the view from house windows, gardens, balconies etc • Branches and/or limbs in physical contact with telephone wires • Leaf fall • Fruit fall • Shedding of small twigs. Nor will we remove leaf and branch debris at the base of a tree which serves to protect roots and protects the tree from lawn mowers, strimmers and dogs
Thank you.
