Vehicles blocking emergency services
Reported via desktop in the Obstruction to Highway category anonymously at 16:37, Sunday 2 February 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7073537.
Large pickup vehicles and vans park in a short stretch of road between Randolph Road and and Seymour Drive, BR2. If there is a fire in Randolph Road, fire engines will not be able to pass through. Double yellow lines need to continue from each corner along this stretch of road. This is safety critical

I agree with this request - getting as far as Randolph Road is getting tricky, and I have a small car.

Also note - the road here is about 4.50m wide. A DAF LF (this van) is 2.54m wide, Leaving 1.96m (assuming directly against the kerb).
The average UK fire engine is 2.6m wide - 64cm too wide.
Randolph road residents are shafted if anyone has a fire.
