Japanese Knotweed

Reported via desktop anonymously at 15:56, Sunday 2 February 2025

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7073290.

The bank alongside Parson Street Railway Station on the south side has a large swathe of Japanese Knotweed. I reported this to Bristol Council in 2007. The land was sold by Network Rail in the 90's so they are not responsible for the Knotweed control. Since 2007 the Knotweed has spread considerably and it has now reached my neighbours garden fence. It reaches from where the track used to be, up the embankment and along the top.

The landowner doesn't maintain the land and we have never had contact.
