Parking on pavement

Cars parked so far on the pavement that people cannot get passed and have to go on the road. During the recent snow and icey conditions an elderly lady on a mobility scooter had to go on to the road and skidded which really shook her up. Worse in the evening and weekends, especially Sunday. It has always been the norm to park on the left going down the street which most do. If everyone did this there would be no problem.
