Huge unavoidable pothole on side going from Queens Park towards Giffnock.

Reported via mobile in the Potholes category anonymously at 10:26, Sunday 2 February 2025

Sent to Glasgow City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7071609.

Huge pothole on an integral crossroad. Road used by nos 38, 4, 57, 57A, 3, and 49 bus. Given the high occurrence of cyclists on this road it is difficult, near impossible, to safely miss the pothole. Damaged my car (flat tyre) and cost upwards of £120 to repair. Checked on Google Maps (and FixMyStreeet) and it is a recurring pothole that poses a severe danger to road users, as per the GCC guidelines it should be properly repaired. It has not been and thus GCC are liable for damages. I have sent a freedom of information request to GCC to find out how many repairs/inspections/claims have been carried out/filed for pothole within a 200m radius. I have done this before and I usually find out there have been inadequate inspections, poor repairs, etc. and I always get my money back.
