Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to report a concern regarding the street lighting along Back Lane, Congleton (Opposite back lane playing fields). While street lights have been installed along this road, they are not currently switched on during the evening or nighttime hours.

This lack of functional lighting presents a significant safety hazard, as it makes the road difficult to navigate for both pedestrians and drivers after dark. The absence of adequate illumination increases the risk of accidents, as visibility is greatly reduced.

I respectfully request that the council looks into this matter and ensures that the street lighting along Back Lane is switched on, providing much-needed safety for all road users during the darker hours.
