Two large potholes either side of the road

Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 12:21, Sat 1 February 2025

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7068758.

I don't mean to be rude but these holes were fixed not so long ago. Suggest the outsourced company returns and redo. It's a complete waste of the councils money if they are not fixed correctly in the first place.

Council ref: ENQ251034023

  • These two potholes are just south of the paddock on Kidmore End Road between the two ends of Tanners Lane . They are the cause of my wife getting a ruined tyre on Friday 31st January and one of numerous potholes along this stretch of road that have been reported by myself and other motorist who have damaged tyres or worse and have repeatedly been shoddily patched up and therefore very quickly deteriorated which is a waste of tax payers money and an unnecessary expense , inconvenience and potentially a danger for all road users . It is obvious that this road requires to be closed and totally resurfaced which would cause a short term inconvenience can a longer lasting solution.

  • I witnessed the company fixing these in the rain during December, they literally swept the water out, put some tar in and pushed it down, absolutely awful!
