    Sadly, I was going to post another photo of the blocked gully but I can't do it today - as you can see, the water just isn't draining away

    Well, I'm surprised that the little rain we have just had has proved that clearing the gullies has had no beneficial effect and proved that the problem remains with the drain that runs under Mere Road

    This problem is still in place, despite gulley cleaning by OCC. It is possible there is a problem under the road after considerable works last year. The PC would like to ask that this gulley is cleaned again and that the pipe under the road is checked.

We truly appreciate your proactive approach in helping us maintain the quality of our highways. We are pleased to inform you that Finmere is scheduled for gully emptying in the third quarter of this financial year, October-December 2025. Rest assured, all Highway Surface Water Assets in the area will be thoroughly cleansed within the specified timeframe. Your report has been closed, and we are committed to ensuring that the necessary actions are taken promptly.
