    There is so much muck has been washed down Mere Road that it's now quite hard to see where the gully is

    Gully has today been cleared, thanks. However, a lot of mud has been left heaped up at the edge of the drain, this should have been cleared away otherwise it will promptly wadh back down into the gully

    Well, I'm surprised that the little rain we have just had has proved that clearing the gullies has had no beneficial effect and proved that the problem remains with the drain that runs under Mere Road

  • Thank you for bringing the drainage issue at Mere Road to our attention. We truly appreciate your proactive approach in helping us maintain the quality of our highways. We are pleased to inform you that Finmere is scheduled for gully emptying in the third quarter of this financial year, October-December 2025 Rest assured, all Highway Surface Water Assets in the area will be thoroughly cleansed within the specified timeframe.
