Tree overhanging public footpath and my property
Reported via mobile in the Tree Requires Pruning category anonymously at 12:03, Friday 31 January 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7064020.
I am writing to formally raise concerns regarding a dangerous tree that is overhanging a public footpath and my property at the end of Faringdon Avenue. The tree in question has large sections that have recently fallen, and its current leaning angle raises serious concerns about its stability. If it were to continue to lean or collapse, it could cause significant damage to my home and pose a serious risk to pedestrians using the public footpath below.
Given the immediate safety risks, I am requesting urgent action to assess and mitigate the hazard.

Thank you for your report.
The map marker provides an estimated location, but additional information in your report description can help us identify locations. House numbers (Side of) or lamp column numbers are very useful for our officers and contractors to locate Council owned trees and will improve the speed and quality of our response. Thank you
