Re-emergence of large pothole 3 weeks after it was 'fixed'
Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 19:36, Thursday 30 January 2025
Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7061415.
A large and deep pothole (outside of 8 Brook Ave, BH25 5HD) was previously there for 8 weeks and was 'fixed' 6 Jan, but straight away it was obvious from the immediate sinking of the 'fixed' hole that the 'fix' was poor quality and would not last long. The pothole has predictably re-opened 3 weeks later, and is getting rapidly larger. Drivers have no choice but drive their wheels over it each time they use the road due to persistent parking on the other side of the road, so it is worsening rapidly. Please fix it! Properly this time!

This isn't just a large and deep pothole, it's a hazard. 3 months, multiple reports, and still nothing. The council's inaction is putting drivers and cyclists at risk. And let's be real, the constant parking next to it is making it even worse. FIX. THIS. POTHOLE. NOW. #roadsafety #accountability #potholerepair
