Poorly undertaken repair

Reported via iOS in the Potholes and maintenance category anonymously at 08:01, Thursday 30 January 2025

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7056450.

This footpath is on the 417 between the linear village of Rowstock and the village of harwell

It is used regularly by dog walkers, runners, walkers, prams and older residents and is the primary access route for walkers to the bus stop to go to oxford

Whilst we are pleased the path has recently been repaired it still has multiple problems. Nearer the Rowstock end there are potholes and trip hazards

The new path has a camber that tips the walker into the road and is not flat. It has also not been edged with the edge simply falling into a metre high drop into the field.

Towards harwell after the repair the grass has overgrown the path and the path is uneven

Council ref: ENQ251033540
