Flag sign years out of date

Reported via desktop in the Bus Stops Flags category anonymously at 18:43, Wednesday 29 January 2025

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7054969.

At the Hamilton Road southbound bus stop on Banbury Road, the flag sign advertises route 94, which was withdrawn in late 2020 or shortly thereafter; but it fails to advertise route 24, which the County Council introduced in 2023.

Other numbers have been deleted or updated, but this has left gaps, and the remaining numbers are out of sequence.

The flag uses an over-sized font to advertise route H2. This deviates from the policy for this type of bus stop sign that the County Council adopted in the 2000s, which was for all routes to be given equal prominence.

The flag needs a new vinyl on each side; displaying the numbers of all the routes that currently serve it; all in the same size font; and all in numerical order.
