Parking on double yellow lines

Reported via desktop in the Obstruction blocking access category anonymously at 18:13, Wednesday 29 January 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7054847.

A now regular and consistent issue where cars are parked both illegally and unsafely on Southover close. Cars parked on double yellow lines, too close to drive ways making it difficult to exit and enter and completely blocking pavements. This issue is made worse by over grown shrubbery on the adjoining houses from falcondale road. This is a now regular and consistent issue where commuters leave their cars on the Close and pick up a bike /scooter to get to work and use the close to park their car by residents from the nearby flats on the henbury road traffic light junction. This makes it difficult for visitors to residents kn the close park their vehicles safetly. A full review of parking is required urgently on Southover Close and traffic wardens needed to visit to book drivers who are parking irresponsibly.
