Urine flowing freely into street from building onto Bury New Road

Reported via mobile anonymously at 15:44, Wed 29 January 2025

Sent to Bury Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7053975.

Urine is flowing freely and continuously onto the public pavement on Bury New Road, Prestwich (presumably there is a drainage issue at the school). The same thing happened in September 2024 and the issue was not fixed until December 2024 - over three months of urine contaminating a public pavement which is used daily by people of all ages, particularly young children as this area is home to several primary schools and nurseries. We are now in January and the problem is back once again. The pavement needs cordening off and the matter dealt with urgently as this is a public health hazard. It is unsanitary, smells and a danger to all who are forced to walk through it. It cannot be allowed to go on for so long again.
