Reported in the Rubbish (refuse and recycling) category anonymously at 14:55, Mon 19 October 2015

Sent to Weymouth and Portland Borough Council 5 minutes later

50 WAKEHAM, EASTON, PORTLAND- Council listed MHO -10 male occupants - all council tax payers through rent. The operatives seem to have a problem with emptying the recycling bins and make it very apparent when they come to dealing with the recycling bins. This is an eyesore and unnecessary littering of the street. This is not a one off occurrence and seems as there is a problem with dealing with this properties recycling.

  • Boxes were emptied 2 to 3 days after the initial report but this week whilst emptying bins, operatives were heard to make loud remarks about the occupants of the house,They also failed to replace a single bin and left it on the path. It is not acceptable that these operatives make such remarks as it is their job to clear the rubbish. It seems that these operatives take being reported personally and then are rude to the people who they are suppose to provide a service to.It is about time the council concerned took actions to prevent this attitude from being continued as it is totally wrong and upsetting to the occupants who do not deserve to be singled out as any different to other households along the street.
