Investigating
Direction sign blown away in wind
Reported via mobile in the Traffic Signs category anonymously at 15:48, Monday 27 January 2025
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7041115.
In the high winds this morning, I was driving to work and a white directions sign blew across the carriage way near the junction on A4130 at Bix. I stopped and took it off the road and put it on the roadside near the bus stop. It needs replacing and tidying up.

The location is on a stretch of dual carriageway near Bix so I don't really want to stop just to take a photo. I only stopped on Tuesday because the sign was in the road and I thought it was dangerous to traffic behind.
I've attached a photo from google maps and sketched the location. It is just beyond the Bix/Bix Manor junction when travelling from Henley toward Wallingford. The sign is in the left-hand verge.
