Drain completely blocked causing severe flooding
Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7037702.
The drain in front of Yew Tree Cottage is completely blocked and the road is badly flooded. Large vehicles trying to pass through the floodwater are causing it to wash into the entrance to Bromsberrow Business Park and also the entrance to Greenlands and Robinswood

We will investigate the issue. If additional clearance work is needed, the local highways team will prioritise the most urgent reports. Where possible, maintenance tasks will be grouped together in a schedule for efficiency.
Sometimes during periods of heavy rain, even a clear gully can be overwhelmed. Usually the water will drain away within an hour.
