Vehicles obstructing the turning point and illegally parked on double yellow lines.

Reported via mobile in the Illegal car parking category anonymously at 22:03, Saturday 25 January 2025

Sent to Luton Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7033005.

Persistent and inconsiderate parking at the top of Beech Road is obstructing safe three-point turns, particularly for larger vehicles. The recent extension of parking bays following the installation of new gates and stairs has exacerbated this ongoing problem. To mitigate this, we propose the implementation of individual parking bays, red lines to restrict parking at the top of the road, and the installation of an ANPR camera system to enforce parking regulations and issue fines. This comprehensive approach is necessary to address the consistent and disruptive parking issues affecting residents of Beech Road.
