Hey, It seems the bollards restricting access to the footpath beterrn Aylesbury Crescent and the allotments are damaged and can't be used. This has now seen considerable vehicle use which has damaged the lane. It's becoming dangerous for members of the allotment to enter the site. Would someone from the council be able to visit and assess if the bollards can be raised and if the use of the lane is appropriate?

It is especially slippery after rain and makes access difficult for less able allotment holders and other users of the footpath. I think (some of ) the residents who back on to the path were given keys to the bollards but they soon gave up raising them. The fact is that the surface is unsuitable for vehicle use.

On 1st Feb i noticed that someone had marked around each bollard. By Sunday 9th someone had raised one of them. The path is still hazardously slippery.
