Threat to life

Reported via desktop in the Flooding/Gully/Drainage category anonymously at 18:05, Saturday 25 January 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7032484.

TODAY AT LUNCHTIME A JOGGER NEARLY GOT HIT BY AN ONCOMING CAR BY RUNNING OUT TO GO AROUND THIS FLOODING COMPLETELY COVERING THE FOOTPATH, IF THE CAR HAD NOT DONE AN EMERGENCY BREAK TO STOP IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A FATAL ACCIDENT. This flooding is marked as not being an issue but has seen consistent flooding for years now and NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE. IT IS AN ACCIDENT WAITING TO HAPPEN. Bristol Council needs to take responsibility and fix the flooding in multiple sites along Pembroke road leading to people needing to wonder into traffic every day. Completely unacceptable.
