Huge flooding

Reported via desktop in the Flooding/Gully/Drainage category anonymously at 12:00, Saturday 25 January 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7030985.

This is continually blocked and is now worse than ever. It's a danger to pedestrians and cyclists as motorists either swerve to the other side of the road to avoid it or drive through and drench pedestrians.

  • Water running down from the top of Richmond Park road brings with it fallen leaves, of which there are many, now turned sludgy because they've been there since they fell in autumn. It is the problem of fallen leaves that are left to build up that causes the drains to block when it rains. This happens repeatedly and we NEVER see council staff removing the leaves apart from one time after piles of leaves got washed down and caused flooding.
