Signpost missing signage, Beaufort Road

As the attached photo shows, there is a signpost that is missing its sign on Beaufort Road. Near to where the road meets Blackswarth Road.

Please can the sign that is missing from this post be replaced. Or if the signpost is no longer required, please can it be removed.
