There is a considerable amount of mud and sludge in the gutter of the highway, when it rains it is then sprayed onto the footpath by passing vehicles which in turn makes the footpath slippy to pedestrians who are either walking to the farm shop or to the postbox. The danger is if someone slips and falls onto the highway then a fatal accident could occur.
