Addition of Speedbumps on road

Reported via mobile in the General highways enquiry category anonymously at 12:25, Thursday 23 January 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7021565.

The road is often used as a racetrack for people to speed along between Bishopsworth Road and Hartcliffe Way. I have seen and experienced multiple cars almost get hit when pulling out from driveways by people driving idiotic speeds down the road. Children and families use this road when walking to and from school, people walk their dogs. This has been happening for the last 4 years at least. I have been told by a neighbours that the Council couldnt add speedbumps due to bus route however many other routes do have speedbumps. Action needs to be taken to prevent drivers speeding down this residential road. It is only a matter of time before someone gets seriously injured.
