Large green tree/bush fallen cycle path

Reported via desktop in the Vegetation & maintenance category anonymously at 07:53, Thursday 23 January 2025

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7019749.

It is unclear why you closed the previous report, a long time has passed since reporting that the tree was completely blocking the cycle track. Luckily persons locally seem to have removed around 50% of the tree making the path usable again. However a sizeable section of the track remains obstructed when I passed this morning.

Council ref: ENQ251032096

  • Has anyone from authorities looked at the morning traffic from Kidlington to Oxford? Kidlington/Sainsbury's should have traffic lights for cars. You spent all that money to put traffic lights for pedestrians but the main issue is cars. The amount of cars going through that roundabout between 7:30-9am is crazy! This roundabout about should have traffic lights for cars.

Also with all the new housing development that's happening opposite of the golf club, the road to Oxford will not handle that?? Look the Google map in the morning traffic is standstill as is now, without all these new houses being developed.... u either need to open up new roads or stop the future development.

The RODAS ARE NOT DESIGNED FOR THIS AMOUNT OF HOUSES.
