Flashing light in bus stop

Light has recently started strobing in bus stop. Understand it's to prevent antisocial behaviour but it means that people waiting for the bus can't use the shelter - it's very uncomfortable. As it gets dark at 5 currently, it means that the light comes on early when the stop is still being used (e.g. work commute). Must be a better solution?
