Large heap of builders' rubble and rubbish

Reported in the Flytipping category anonymously at 17:38, Sat 10 October 2015

Sent to South Oxfordshire District Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 700730.

A huge heap of rubbish, including old toilet and washbasin, empty buckets of plaster etc. Looks like the remains of someone's old bathroom. Located in the field behind the hedge at the back of the lay-by on the Reading Road. There are tyre tracks leading back from the undated entrance to the field. It has been there nearly 2 weeks, since about the 24/25 September

Council ref: 700730

  • Nothing seems to have happened so far, after 4 weeks. Last week I saw two uniformed police looking at the heap of rubbish. Some of it has now blown across the main Reading Road and is further disfiguring our environment. When can I expect this to be dealt with?

  • Still no action taken over this eye-sore. I see it every day, but nobody is doing anything about it. How long do we have to wait for it to be cleared. It's 2 months now since I first reported it. Please arrange for it to be cleared away as soon as possible. I would hate for this to drag on into next year!
