Loose drain cover, failed tarmac. Inadequate repair

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7004561.

I reported this a year or so ago and a repair took place. The repair has failed and the drain cover is loose AGAIN! This should be sent back to the contractor who did such a poor job. HCC should not be paying for it!

  • A repair has been carried out. However, the drain is not in line with the road surface and the tarmac is gradually coming out with passing traffic. It will be a hole by Christmas 2025. Get the contractor back and don't pay until it is right.
