Driving from Radley west along the Radley Road. Once at the Twelve Acre Roundabout it is impossible to see approaching traffic from the right (north) because of a hedge that is jutting out (in front of a fence), There is no need for the hedge. It should be removed so drivers can see approaching traffic. The angle of the junction makes this impossible to see up the road, with the hedge there. (Currently the only way to know if there might be traffic approaching from the right going onto the roundabout, is to peer through the hedge as you drive along the last 15 metres of the road. Once the hedge comes into leaf in the next few weeks it will be impossible to peer through the hedge. Also drivers who do not know the junction are not aware once they get to the roundabout they won't be able to see approaching traffic.) The issue is worsened by increased traffic due to new housing and building work. Please could the piece of hedge blocking the view north along Twelve Acre be removed asap (especially as the earlier piece of hedge is getting increasing difficult to see through). It is only a small section that is actually on the roundabout that needs removing - maybe a couple of metres worth. Thanks

The hedge is the highway side of the boundary fence. It is growing in the space about a metre wide or more between the boundary fence and a road sign. The foliage is getting thicker and it is getting even harder to view oncoming traffic from the right on entering onto the roundabout.

Phoned 0345 310 1111 as advised on Fix my Street website as consider this urgent. The hedge is growing thicker and is getting harder to see through, as well as more difficult to remove. Unfortunately the hedge is not on a park where there is little risk but at a roundabout junction where there could likely be an accident. It should not take long to fix it. Please prioritise. (this phone line took me through to general enquiries, it has no road related option now) NB. Linked to ENQ25103859 I raised 21/2/25 hoping another team would pick up and action quicker or chase

This is a busy road. View at Radley Road / Twelve Acre Drive roundabout. Picture is taken from where a driver would be. It is impossible to see traffic approaching the roundabout from the north along Twelve Acre Drive because of a shrub on a blind bend. The shrub, that is behind the lamp post in the photo, needs removing. Hedge trimming has recently occurred further back along the road, but the shrub is still there.

Thank you for your enquiry. This has been cut back to increase the vision up the road.
