This pothole led to an almighty jarring sound in my car which I thought had broken an axle but didn't cause any tyre damage. The following day my wife drove over it in the evening and it caused complete a puncture. She managed to get home but the tyre was completely deflated and we needed to call out roadside assistance and required a new tyre, with a total cost of £180. We have all available receipts and we are seeking the cost of the damage from the council.
