Road floods with surface water

Sent to West Sussex County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6996742.

Road always heavy with surface water running from fields Ditches not dug out and drain blocked, with this frost road icy and dangerous on corner, road surface been repaired many times but never fixing problem, needs looking at and fixing before next accident or shall we just continue repairing the road surface when it breaks up as usual at more cost. been reporting this since 2016

  • They said they'd get the land owner to dig ditches which is not the answer. maybe if they went out and surveyed it and worked out a plan it could be resolved permanently

  • Not fixed they said it's the land owners responsibility but that ain't going to happen. it needs more than ditch digging, they need engineers to look and redesign it.. sad bit spring now soon to be summer so nothing will happen see you next winter to complain again
