Plucksbridge Road flooding to Strines Road

Sent to Stockport Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6994961.

Flooding from the canal at the retaining wall at bridge 21 braking up the surface of Plucksbridge road has been flowing for over 12 months, this has blocked the gullies and has flooded across Strines road.

The leak is very clear and spewing out of the wall.

  • This is being caused by the Canal Leaking, the Canal Trust is aware and has been since last August, this will not stop until the canal trust are pushed to fix the leak.

    They have promised in numerous occasions last date was this week - no action, the residents are quite annoyed that the canal Authority are pushing costs to the Local Authority - by default us the tax payers.
