Litter and supermarket trolleys

Reported in the Rubbish (refuse and recycling) category anonymously at 10:37, Mon 17 August 2009

Sent to Test Valley Borough Council 3 minutes later

There is a grass area at the start os Suffolk Rd. which seems to be a collection point for supermarket trolleys. To be fair , the supermarkets do occasionally retrieve them but can't something be done to stop them going there in the first place? Although the centre of Andover is regularly cleaned this area is not. Suffolk Street has a collection of fast food containers, drinks cans and plastic bags all along the pavement and gutters.
