The road surface is unacceptable and a danger to cars and pedestrians
Reported via mobile in the Pothole category anonymously at 07:39, Friday 17 January 2025
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6992380.
Along the section leading from the park in Somerton to the T junction with Somerton the road surface is non existent. There are craters and potholes all the way down the hill to the the junction and no one is fixing it ! It is not only dangerous to drivers who have to go single file to avoid the holes but we have hardly any pavements in Somerton and to get to the park we have to walk on the road surface which is downright dangerous not only because the sheer volume of traffic has increased since Heyford base was developed and cars cut through from the M40 junction because we have no traffic lights but also because there are so many potholes . We seem to have been forgotten in Somerton . Come and check out the roads here you’ll see what I mean .
