Water flowing and drain blocked

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6990937.

Water constantly flowing down the lane, even in dry weather, drain under old railway bridge is blocked - water just flows over it causing damage to the road and freezes causing black ice. Three collisions happened last Saturday due to black ice. Please can something be done before someone is seriously injured.

  • When is this action scheduled for as water is still pouring down the road and we haven't had significant rain for this to be still flowing. The road surface is now breaking up and the bridge mortar is being damaged by the constant water being splashed up from the road

  • When is something going to be done about this blocked drain - the road is now severely damaged with pot holes and water still flowing down the road despite there being no rain for months. I reported this in January

  • Thank you, thank you for sorting the drain in Calcot Lane, just the potholes the running water has left to fix. As least the road will not be frozen when it gets cold in a few months
