Almost completely invisible yellow box markings

Sent to Norfolk County Council and Norwich City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6987334.

This very busy junction is blocked most mornings and afternoons at peak times because the worn out yellow paint in invisible, meaning this junction is regularly blocked by vehicles that have encroached the former box junction and then stopped, preventing circulation around the roundabout. It is in fact just one of several such cases on the Norwich ring road, but this one is particularly problematic,

  • The reason quoted for not repainting the box junction is that it doesn't meet the criteria. Meanwhile, congestion remains acute in this location at peak times, with vehicles blocking the roundabout.
