Gate posts rotten on set of gates on public footpath

Reported via mobile anonymously at 14:55, Tuesday 14 January 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Cherwell District Council and Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6979083.

These gates are one set of four on a public footpath which runs from Mill Street to School Road, Kidlington. The gates open onto a private drive which is in constant use throughout the day (the public path crosses this drive). However, the posts have rotted and the gates are currently on the ground. They need replacing and reinstalling to prevent someone being knocked over by a vehicle.
