Hedge trimming covering the cycle path in thorns on the A4074 from the Henley Road turn Dorchester-on-Thames to the Oxford Road roundabout Benson.

Sent to South Oxfordshire District Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 697743.

At some time before 4pm on Monday 28 September 2015 the hedge adjacent to the cycle path on the A4074 between Henley Road, Dorchester and Oxford Road roundabout, Benson was trimmed leaving the cycle path covered in thorns and therefore unusable for bicycles. I experienced a puncture on that Monday and have subsequently had to cycle on the very busy road and am consequently receiving blaring hooting and abuse from motorists who believe I should be on the cycle path. I would appreciate the cycle path being cleared of thorns and made usable for cyclists again, before I am subjected to a serious confrontation with an irate motorist. Thank you.
