Cars parking at junction make right turn very dangerous

Reported in the Car parking category anonymously at 12:31, Fri 2 October 2015 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Vale of White Horse District Council 4 minutes later

Cars park opposite the junction of Tullis Close and Mill Lane, forcing cars turning right out of Tullis Close to be on the wrong side of the road and vulnerable to collision with cars turning into Mill Lane off High Street (especially those turning left, from the south, round a sweeping blind corner). There have been a number of near misses recently. We need double yellow lines to stop vehicles parking there.

  • The installation of formal waiting restrictions (yellow lines) requires the implementation of a 'Traffic Regulation Order', this involves a long and expensive legal process including public consultation, I regret that Oxfordshire County Council would not be able to fund such a scheme at this time.
